Ohhh my hand hurts. x_x
Some days ago I found this awesome contest where you have to take an old picture from yourself and redraw it.
Since I wanted to redraw 'Mothers sorrow' for a longer time. I took this as a chance to do so. Also this was a kind of test for me if I'm able to finish a picture within a pretty short amount of time.

Started on Thursday, finished some seconds ago and I really hope that this picture will be accepted for the contest since the deadline is today. :D

Sending a direct comparison between both pictures in a second. ^^

very nicely done:) I hope you will be accepted:) amazing perspective. maybe a bit too darky on myself (my monitor is darker a bit) so i needed a while for my eyes to find everything. But atmosphere is like a weather is. You have chosen good colours (flowers and light from lamp give it some kind of different spirit), its not too depresive but still is here visible the "sorrow"

Die Stimmung kommt echt gut rüber und wie die Mutter auf ihr Junges guckt, welches auf ihrem Schwanz schläft, ist richtig klasse geworden.
Die Details sind wieder Atemberaubend. Wow...

I love how this looks, its just such a good picture. The detail is amazing, the little dragon is sooooooo cute. The background is great too, this picture just works together very well.

Thanks! ^^ I used a filter in PS to make the lines smooth and let it look like rain.
