That is so wonderful!
I really, really, REALLY love the coloring style. It reminds me of those detailed old illustrations of dragons you see floating around every now and then. I almost thought it was some sort of traditional painting at first (my bet was on acrylics, or maybe even oil) ...but damn, it's digital. I wish I could pull off something that looked so "real media" in digital. D:

The detail in the background and the dragon is just astounding. Normally, I see people who make their characters super-detailed and then flake on the background or vice versa, but here, the level detail in both matches perfectly. The little things in the background (the clouds rising up, the river in the distance) really make it seem like a real scene. Wonderul job on the dragon, too. The anatomy is just -drool-

Wie gesagt, ich kann den Drachi net ganz positionieren, rein von der Pose/Perspektive würde ich sagen er ist eher hoch oben, über dem Vulkan, aber da die Lava ja so stark auf die Schuppen leuchtet müsste er ja eigentlich ganz nah sein. als würde er gleich landen...
